Common questions
Can we stay in the house during an interior renovation?
Often yes for a single room, but it gets harder once the kitchen, the only bathroom, or heat and water are affected. It is best to decide this before the schedule is set, and we plan the phasing around which spaces you need to keep using.
What happens if something unexpected is found once walls are opened?
Opening walls and ceilings regularly reveals wiring, plumbing or structure the drawings did not show. Work pauses at that point, the change is priced and — where it is structural — engineered before it continues; a plan with no room for that is not a realistic plan.
How do you keep dust out of the rest of the house?
The work area is sealed off, walkways are protected and debris is removed as the job goes. It never eliminates dust entirely on an occupied renovation, but containment is set up before demolition rather than after the mess has spread.
